En dialogo con FM Cristal, el Hospital Municipal Devoto emitió un detalle sobre la vacunación contra la fiebre amarrilla: quienes y donde deben vacunarse. Además, recordó a la población la importancia de tener el Calendario de Vacunación completo.

 

FIEBRE AMARILLA

  • Todos aquellas personas que viajen a Brasil deben vacunarse contra la Fiebre Amarilla, exceptuando quienes lo hagan a Natal, Fortaleza o Puerto Galina.
  • La vacuna no es apta para mujeres embarazadas, niños menores de 1 año y adultos mayores de 60 por lo que, se recomienda evitar los destinos tropicales donde suele desarrollarse esta enfermedad.
  • La vacunación contra la fiebre amarilla sólo se efectúa en algunos hospitales. En el Hospital José Bernardo Iturraspe de San Francisco (consultar número en el hospital local) o en el Hospital Misericordia de Córdoba con turno previo.
  • La vacuna solo es efectiva si se coloca por lo menos 10 días antes de viajar.

 

IMPORTANTE

  • Recordar además las vacunas del ingreso escolar de niños entre 5 y 6 años y niños de 11 años.
  • Antitetánica: en los adultos, debe reforzarse cada 10 años.
