El devotense Román Gastaldi,  concretó su retorno a las pruebas combinadas, este 5 y 6 de septiembre en Resistencia. Reunió 7.447 puntos, mejor performance argentina de la temporada, mostrando su recuperación tras un largo período de ausencia por lesión.

Sus parciales fueron: 11s.15 en 100, 6.94 en largo, 13.98 en bala, 2.02 en alto y 51s.91 en 400 durante el primer día; 15s.23 en 110 metros con vallas, 45.78 en disco, 4.20 m. en garrocha, 54.44 m. en jabalina y 4m51s52 en 1500.
