El Grupo Cooperativo Mutual Devoto puso en marcha la construcción del edificio para el supermercado, proyectado desde el año 2014. Con una inversión millonaria, la obra ya es un hecho. Incluirá espacios para la venta minorista y mayorista. Inicialmente serán productos de almacén y luego ampliarán y diversifican las opciones.

Esta importante concreción fue confirmada a Devoto Digital por el Cr. Domingo Benso, Gerente del Grupo Cooperativo Mutual, quien adelantó que el edificio, de una sola planta, tendrá una superficie de 1500m2, con posibilidades de ampliación.

En este proyecto, dirigido técnicamente por la Arq. Miriam Schultheis, el Grupo Cooperativo Mutual invertirá fondos propios por un monto de 6 millones y medio de pesos. Se estima que el plazo de obra será de, al menos, 2 años.

El supermercado o proveeduría mutual estará ubicado sobre Bv.25 de Mayo, en la mano sur, entre las calles Urquiza y Güemes; exactamente al frente del Cuartel de Bomberos Devoto.
