El Cr. Domingo Benso, gerente del Grupo Cooperativo Mutual Devoto, recomendó a la población no consumir el agua potable que se distribuye en la localidad  debido a que, en  análisis efectuados el pasado domingo , se detectó un mínimo grado de contaminación.

En diálogo con FM CRISTAL y DEVOTO DIGITAL Benso reconoció estar muy preocupado por este tema, destacando que se encuentra a la espera de nuevos análisis que se están realizando hoy jueves, con muestras tomadas anoche en la cisterna de la Cooperativa de Obras y Servicios Públicos.

Según detalló, estudios similares realizados el domingo “no nos dieron bien” por lo que se empezó a recomendar “hervir el agua para ingerir y colocar lejía a aquella  que se va a usar para lavar alimentos”.

En paralelo, y por indicación de los técnicos, se duplicó el nivel de cloración del agua, en la instancia previa a su distribución domiciliaria. Igualmente se recomienda “no ingerir” si no se le efectúa algún tipo de tratamiento preventivo hogareño.
